We are working towards compliance with all accessibility guidance and recommended practice, in partnership with access consultants The June Bretherton Consultancy.
The current version of the website has been made as inclusive as possible through the following:
Browsers
Our website has been optimised for the following browsers: Internet Explorer 5.1+, Safari 1.2+, Firefox 2.0+
Colours
Text and background colours have been chosen for good on-screen legibility, but you can also change your web browser's default settings to specify different colours or fonts if you wish.
Size of text
You can change the font size in your browser by selecting 'View', then 'Text size’ in Internet Explorer, or ‘View’, then either ‘Make text bigger’ or ‘Make text smaller’ in Safari or Firefox.
Images
All images, other than those that are purely aesthetic, include descriptive alt tags. The alt tags for ‘decorative’ images are set to null.
JavaScript
We have kept the use of JavaScript to a minimum.
Style Sheets
Cascading stylesheets have been used for all visual layouts.
